One Person Stands Tall

The pain she bears is too strong,
She cannot cope, this is wrong,
No help or comfort can she find,
All will shun her, she says in her mind.
Some do care, but cannot show,
Others cannot see, they must not know,
So alone she bears the agony and woe,
Til she breaks, then all doth know.
One person stands tall,
A beacon of love for the forlorn,
"Come to me, tell me,
Let me help you through your storm."
Arms wide open, heartful of love,
Oh Mum, you are sent from above.
