One Over the Other

Steadily and stealthily
Was the approach
Witty, cunning was the device
The succulent custom velvet
Was the aim
Craftily achieved
Without any remorse
Without any shame
Without any thought
Of the first line drawn
Not necessarily out of love
But out of unease
Considering the greater need
Steaming from a human heart
Now cunningly achieved
You now plot your larger scheme
Whereby rendering away
Your fleshy heart
Revealing your heart of stone
