One of Those Mornings

One of Those Mornings



        Eyes open reluctant laid still on her empty pillow, she was just here yesterday,
      her memory remains, she couldn't last another day, today our Silver Anniversary, 
       now my first day without her, I want to die too, this mourning like no other day...

          Birds chirping 5 days later now waking up with a smile on my face, reliving,
          remembering happier times, quiet conversations, dancing, traveling, living,
       our love was perfect, she'd want me to carry on, this morning she is here giving...

This is a very nice piece of sentiment showing how he struggles so much at first then slowly works it out and finding peace enough to carry on. God I dread the day if I were to wake up that day for the first day of my wife being gone, I am lost when she goes on vacation! Great write Brian
