One of Those Days
Today is one of those days.
I just want to lock myself in a
room, and think about
everything but me and you.
I want to cry until I have no
more tears, I want to claw
away at all of my fears.
I just want to scream in silence
so nobody knows just how
much this hurts, and how much
this blows.
It's gonna be one of those
nights where I reminisce on
every wrong thing that I've
done, with no solution in sight.
The voices that put me down
are going to pull me to ground,
and make sure that my cries
for help won't be heard, or
even make a sound.
