One Night In Bethlehem
A star hung low, one night long ago,
When the baby Jesus was born.
The shepherds left their flocks by night,
And rushed to see the glorious sight-
The Saviour, on that first Christmas morn.
The Angels sang glad songs of Joy
One night in Bethlehem.
Glory to God in the highest,
Peace on Earth, Good will to all men-
The Saviour is born to save them!
The wise men brought Him gifts from afar.
There was gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Then they knelt and worshipped Him-
This baby boy, the King of Kings-
One night in Bethlehem.
There was Mary. and Joseph, and a manger filled with hay,
And in that humble manger the blessed Saviour lay.
The shepherds bowed before Him, the Son of God.
Born to save them, one night in Bethlehem.
