June 28, 2007 The Eyes I Remember Haunting yet beautiful The eyes that I knew Suffer no more Yet missed, I regret not The grace that gave his memory Yet still I believe Amazing, great things could And would have transpired If he would have seen this new day Yes, I'll cry one day, one special day When all of the hate of this world diminishes It is then that I will truly live in the land of the free
