One More Day

One more day I wish that I had, just one more day to spend and to share with the one I love and do so much care. When my call for you was sent an answer was not found. I then knew that someone much mightier than I had called you with a love much more profound. Your soul to Almighty you did render, so it is now that I must remember, His call for you my love will not hinder. For all of the glorious times that we spent together I will always remember. For in my heart you will always remain and my love for you will never change. And even though a tear I may cry, It is now I know that we must say good-bye. You were my life, my love, my friend, but still it is just one more day I wish that I could spend.
