Notes About The Poem

She may not be here in body but she will always be with me in spirit.

One Month From Now

One Month From Now

One month from now will be two years
Since my Barbara left this life
I still wear my wedding ring
For she will always be my wife

There could never be another
Who could ever take her place
For more than two and fifty years
I looked upon her lovely face

We shared all that our lives would bring
Which is all we'd ever need
We always said, “I love you”
Even when we disagreed

She's still within my mind and heart
She's still in my life each day
Until we meet again in heaven
It will always be that way

Franklin, that’s such a beautiful tribute to your wife, the love of your life. True love never dies, it lives on in one’s heart and mind… Belle
