One Liners 4--Boxing

They hit with punches and uppercuts :the crowd raging for more bloodied savagery!

I can't stand that I share the world with people who enjoy men hurt each other - the old days of the Roman arena break my heart. Crowds to egg on a stoning, etc. I will never understand it and I'm glad of it. Good write though - nutshells the savagery ... CayCay

This is one of the few sports that don't appeal to me, Nette. Like how you show your disdain for it. I notice from the comments below that this is a winning entry.....Congratulations!:) Hugs // paul

Engrossed in your verse! If the goal of boxing is to knock your opponent down to injure him, what's the point? I think that's why Muhammad Ali has Parkinson's.

I somewhat like this sport because it releases my own turmoil in the name of sports.Yes, brutal it is. Woman, this is a knock-out!

and the beat goes on...such a violent display of human nature and you summed it up nicely in one line.

It's a sport I never really have understood. Fighting with a reason to fight yes, but for entertainment purposes and recognition no. Thought provoking line Nette.
