One Last Time

Late night, street lights burning
Walking myself home
Breathe in this night
So dark, so right
Swirling thoughts of revenge
in my dizzy head
With arms raised high
Where all hope dies

One last time
i will throw this all away
One last time
Give me strength from suffering

Hurting, walking faster
Creeping on disaster
I start to feel
This time it's real
Blood shot eyes they guide me
through this night of pain
and secrets kept
will soon have rest

One last time
I will throw this all away
One last time
Give me strength from suffering

Interesting. One doesn't know if the speaker is intoxicated from drugs, alcohol, or his need for revenge. His disorientation is well reflected within the words. I enjoyed this piece.
