I can tell by that look
that you found what you were missing
that part of your soul
that failed to exist
may you find the happiness
you've been waiting for
I wish you the very best
may she be all you deserve

you were deep in my heart
and she was deep in yours
I take one last look
before I shut this door

it is not so sudden
but it now is clear
I knew it would be soon
and now it is here
I love you from me
is not what you want to hear
I wish you the very best
