One Last Breath

Withered and hollow
with might, in pain
nor calm nor shallow
have been wounded in vain.

Carry on and on,
without a thought to escape
wills on to move on,
with my heart upon a cape.

Grasping for a new tomorrow,
meandering without a care,
a share of peace to borrow,
in sight, no one can bear.

One more step..
coping to make..
just one more step...
i wish to take.

A prayer for a reason,
to take upon a sheath,
on to a new season,
once again to breathe .
