One Huge Flame

A flame was lit in decades past, and no one wants to see it last, for global warming is its name. Some tell us we'll have much to rue while others argue that’s not true. The biggest culprits take NO blame! We speak of it, yet still we stall. . . Bad habits must be changed by all before this earth is one huge flame. I could use some global warming up here in Michigan this summer....This morning was another late July sweatshirt/jacket day! Last week it was a low of 42 degrees! Mind you, I just moved here from Florida. I do like the passion in your poetic platform here San AndreaS! You should research "Chem-trails in the sky" not comtrails, "CHEM-Trails"...scary stuff that nobody seems to wanna pay attention to. Let me know if you have time to research that subject. I posted a poem on it a while back.

This is a winner in my book keep it up I'll be back for more. cheri

BRAVA!!! Andrea for this wakeup call aimed at everyone on the planet! So well written and succinct! Spread this one around to those sites for those who are trying to do something about the problem. It will certainly be appreciated there. A wise little gem!

Aewsome statement in the wisdom of Poetry Andrea! Equally awesome is your vivid inner line rhyming, one of my favorite techniques. Preach on Poet! J.A.B.

Love the topic and your ideas are interesting, your so right on the button with this wonderful poem. It's true that 99 percent of the population don't want to admit any blame for the problem of global warming. We must change how we live and think before it's to late. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this subject, I believe the same way lady. I've taught my son to be aware of this, every year we take something old and make something new from it. I wish others would do something like this, cheri

:) i like this another unique turn of the contest.. :D!!! and more it's about our mama earth.. :) i really wish other people will care more.. :) here, maybe if no street cleaners this will be a wide area of junk.. as most just throw anywhere they like..... your first and 2nd line explores rather implies a lot of subjects i can think of.. :) but your third line exposed what you have chosen .. :)
