One Heart

Wherever you may go,
I will be with you.
A shoulder you can lean upon,
A hand you can cling to.
To guide you through the darkness
On the path toward the sun.
You know that I’ll be there when night is done.
For what was two has now been made to one.

Wherever you may live,
I will make my home.
From sunrise until sunrise
You will never be alone.
Whether we have plenty or
Whether there is none
We will finish all we have begun
For what was two has now been made to one.

For a man shall leave his father and his mother for his wife.
And a woman leave her home so they can start a brand new life.
What God has joined together cannot be torn apart
Our lives become one life, our hearts become one heart.

Wherever life may lead you,
I’ll be right behind.
Whenever you’re in need,
I won’t be hard to find.
Together we will journey
On our path toward the sun
You know that I’ll be there when night is done.
For what was two has now been made to one.
