One Flew Over
So whats on the agenda for today? Maybe dinner with some wine,
I said to him walking back and forth in a straight line.
That sounds great, but what about later tonight?
Its up to you, whatever we choose will be alright.
Maybe we can even catch that new funny movie,
I said staring out the window as I get ready.
As we go down the sidewalk people start to stare.
I just continue talking because we don't care.
I finally found a good place to sit down and eat.
The hostess put us away from everyone, very discreet.
Like always I ordered for the both of us,
and they only charged us half, so that's a plus.
We talk and laugh in the movie line as we wait,
but all the people's stares are really starting to frustrate.
I don't understand why we get so much attention,
sometimes I feel like I'm in another dimension.
We get so upset we decide to walk away and leave,
then this little girl walks up and asks if I'm playing make believe.
She wondered away from her mother who is on the phone.
Then she looks up and says, why do you talk to yourself when you're alone?
