One Dollar Can Equal a Million Dollars
One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And sixty cents of it was in pennies.
Pennies saved by bulldozing the grocer and the vegetable man and the butcher.
One dollar and eighty- seven cents. And the next day would be Christmas.
I was rich!
All my hardwork paid off!
I speed to the nearest Wal-Mart and bought three t.v’s
for my siblings gifts of course.
Now I have one dollar and eighty- four cents left.
I bought the last of my tools to finish my cabin,
now I have one dollar and eighty cents left.
My spirit was outsinging the best singer you could ever imagine.
Snow reflecting off my teeth,
breaking the wind wherever I went,
getting frowned upon because of all the money I spent.
I didn’t care, because I went everywhere.
I walked out with practically the entire supermarket,
groceries for a lifetime.
now I have one- dollar left.
With that dollar I finished the last payment on my parents matching
mink coats!
I’m glad in the beginning of the year I had everything on layaway,
because with that washed away dollar and eighty- four color stripped cents,
I paid off the last of my payments for everyones gifts.
Including adding that eighty cents to my gift card for my groceries.
Most people would’ve of thought that was very little money,
but since I saved my money,
and made payments on my gifts in the beginning of the year I was practically the richest person on Earth.
