One Day Closer

Well Jesus here I am another day has gone by
Making it one day closer until you split the eastern sky
O how your children long for you to come rid the world of sin
We know how this story ends for in the end we win
But we're really tired the battle is getting hard
Please dispatch your angels ready to stand guard
You know everything that happens nothing takes you by surprise
Please let us see our enemies perish before our eyes
Thank you Lord for choosing us give us strength to stand
Continually guided by your mighty hand
Amen
