One Day
I long for the heavens to open
For the clouds in the sky to part
I want you to fall from the sky
With your arms open wide
And pull me in close to your heart.
I need to hear your laughter
To look in your sparkling eyes
Come to me dear
I will wait for you here
Take me with you into the skies.
My soul is empty and aching
Each summer replaced with rain
Oh how Ill rejoice
When I hear your soft voice
And we are together again.
