One Day
One day,
Another astray,
Death near,
No cure,
Hearts care,
Love to share,
Dinners served,
Life as a curve,
One day,
Life seems okay,
One more gone,
No longer a pretty dawn,
No more,
Choosing each door,
One Day,
Wishing she could stay,
Death took over,
Coldness so sure,
One Day,
Believe the way,
Another left,
Memories at check,
Leave your heart,
Let this be your fresh start,
One day,
Leave worries to lie,
Never for granted,
Each day one leaves; sent.
