One Day

One day I’ll fly away, uncertain of a time, uncertain of a day, one thing I know above, my final day, is filled with love, regardless of who went where, please be with me, lying there, my final wish my final ask, what ever happened in the past, just let it go, and let love win, just hold each other, both her and him, celebrate just who you are, I’ll never be very far, when the sun, warms you’re skin, think to yourself, that must be him, or when you’re feeling pretty blue, just imagine, I’m holding you, pick a song, that reminds you of me, however deep or even silly, todays the day, to remember the good, regardless of name, regardless of blood, you’ve entered my life, and made yourself known, sunshine to a flower, a flower that’s grown, and lived a full life, of laugher and love, my smiles will continue, from way up above, so please don’t be sad, on the day of all days, the day I beat, the greatest maze, and found my way, right where I should, in a room, surrounded by love, I’ll leave you with this, a sonnet that’s true, my very last words, my words just for you, my story in poems sounds raw and sounds hard, the end of the day, this was my card, a card that was torn, a card that was stained, given the chance, I wouldn’t of changed.
