One Christmas Morning-W

I did not dream of a white Christmas but prayed for rain.
At 9AM, the trees are stripped of leaves but not of life.

In stark contrast from the summer's dry grass bleached In brown, is a lawn wet and filled with beautiful green grass.

The lemons, although a little late are slowly turning yellow. The neighbor's 'stars and stripes' is blowing gently in the wind.

The skies are clear, but no sunlight beams across the canopy. It's now 48 degrees and there's more rain in today's forecast.

The furnace is blowing comforting warmth into the silenced house. Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas, and praying your day is good.

your landscape is sure different from mine but I enjoyed this description of your day, Curtis.

Merry Christmas, Curtis, it sounds cold, but a beautiful scenery outside.
