One and Only

I carried you nine months in my tummy
Knowing you will forever be my one and only
Went thru 19 hours of labor and almost died
But when I saw you for the first time I cried.

You were so tiny, and I held you as delicate as I can
Looking at you with so much joy and love as I held your tiny hand
You are the best thing that has happened to me
I will be the best mom for you I know I can be.

I will always protect you and teach you right
When you came into the world my darkness turned to light
I thank God every day for blessing me with you
I'll always be here for you and support what you want to do.

Chase your dreams nothing is impossible
As long as you do it right and be responsible
My son you are the definition of a miracle in my eyes
If I did not have you, I probably would have died.

Ever since you came into my life, I have been filled with so much love
And every day for that I have to thank God up above.

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to PS. Meanwhile, I welcome you with God's love, expressed in John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
