One

I see a light from behind
The statue of hope
In the dark of my mind
Am I the only one here
In whats left of this town
In a world broken down

I wear this sorrow like a hole in the head
My demons block out the sun
leaving me as the one
The one who exists for no one
Who shoulders the burdens
To live with nowhere to run

This is deeply sad. I can see this person who is totally separated from God and his fellowman. I hope that it is just a topic and not what is happening in your life. Keep writing. Sara
