Once We Were Friends

I am not mad,

I am not sad.

I do not care,

You're choice was there.

My boyfriend cheated,

It was you that I needed.

You cried you're problems instead,

When all I needed was a leveled head.

Pushed me aside,

And those feelings I just let ride..

Continued daily tasks,

My deeper feelings I had to mask.

Time's went by,

No word no hi.

And when you did,

It was an ultimate goodbye.

I don't need you're nonsense,

and I don't need you're friendship.

If you choose to treat me like a mat,

It won't be hard for me to turn my back.

The door is as clear as air,

Here let me hold it open for you to walk there!

Sometimes things happen for a reason. Usually for better than for worse. You go girl! Plenty of fish in the sea. Charlie BTW, welcome to the Soup :)
