Once Upon a Time Life

Once upon a time,
when I used to call you mine,
I gave you my heart,
but you tore, and shattered it.
You damaged it,
I left it with you,
and you betrayed me,
I was a fool to think you would
be loyal and faithful.
Wow, I was dumb.
You were a coward,
You were a jerk,
In so many ways.
You left without me,
Spent so much time with her,
said she was just a friend,
Then a week later,
Found out you were cheating on me with her.
I was thinking I was dumb, but then I just said
I'm done, I am done with you,
I went to someone better,
better than you.
I used to be that once upon a time girl,
Wow, now I'm a free girl.
