Once Upon a Time

Winds of time blew the page
and you was lost forever
within the timeless index,
of my mind
 your page
I must confess was never read
 only written
the book with dust
my breath does blow
far across timeless
 aging space.
this is where
 I find you
as memory and page less friend
but never did we find the place
 once marked
by tear or cheer or once upon a time.
