Once Upon a Time

Picture perfect endings, Rarely ever start. And the lips that mouth, “I love you,” Never mean it from the heart. Stories told in fairy tales, Young hearts they do deceive. For a shot from Cupid’s arrow, Causes naught but one to bleed. True love’s not found within these tales, Nor in children’s nursery rhymes. But it’s found when in going through love’s long toil, Two souls are intertwined.
