Once Held, Once Touched

March 13 20011

                                              I once held a heart..
                                       repaired the cracks and color..
                                            watched it love again..

                                             I once touched a soul..
read to it and made it whole..
                                              then saw its my own..

After a very super weekend I am back at the soup reading. I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Michael. There are so many diverse writers here and I am so happy I am able to read most of them. Have a wonderful week and may you find what you are looking for in life and in your writing. Love, Carol

Eloquent senryu, Michael. Learning to feel with your own soul. Very interesting expression you described!

Goose bumps fill my body as I read this Michael. Beautiful and true what words can do. They heal the soul and repair a broken heart; this is only the start... Love it! Lay

This is exactly what some folks don't realize, Michael. We have to learn to heal ourselves. A deeply moving poem filled with wisdom. Love, Carolyn
