Once Had Lived

Still waken; yawn, flex.
Still rise; to eat.
But once had lived too!
That childhood feat.

By accessing joy
Through countless gates
On those friendly raced
Free-ran estates.

Think neighbourhood's wide
Neighbourhood shock.
Think foals, in tandem.
Of wilder stock!
