Once By You

Love, what is Love?
Love can be compared to a dove.
A dove is eloquent and white,
that comparison gave me a fright.

Yes, Yes it is true,
I have been loved-
once by you.
Cheered up and been hugged.

Its a shame you couldn't stay.
Its a shame you ran away.
People change and they go,
like a Violin playing its Bow

-You never told me why,
I thought it was a lie,
You Slammed the door in may face,
for My Heart you, will Never embrace!

Hello Molly, nice to meet you. This is a sad poem. Filled with heartache I could tell by reading your poem. Yep! Love hurts! At least you were not married to him,Your poem tells he would cheat if married to you. You deserve better.
