Once a Friend

A friend of many years 
Left with thousand fears
Never looked behind
Nor cared to find 
Why would it be? 
To sacrifice me
No reason was given 
Just an impact of all of a sudden 
There I was standing 
With my heart beating and pounding 
Mind couldn’t comprehend 
It was done by a friend
And lonely I wait
Alone with fate
Can’t feel nor do
Just waiting for you
