On Your Own Ground

He unlocked his brakes
With tri-pod in place
Put his foot down
On his own ground..

With help from above
He stood on both feet
One step
Then two steps
It wasn't that steep..

From here
To there
Is what
He cared about
The most
How far
How close..

He controls
His life on wheels
No one knows
How he feels..

Unlock your brakes
Put your feet down
Hold on tight
Stand up
On Your Own Ground.

Sound poetry like a mid night song scrubbing the mind to peace and comfort. I love everything about this page and a 7 definitely.
