On Tropical Island
Doused and dizzy, I drowsed
On a tropical island, I roused
With Calypso music on my head
The troubles in my heart were all dead
The beauty was finer than gold
Like a tale of heaven that's not been told
Waters as blue as the skies
Shone to mend the sorrow in my eyes
The sand on the shore became my bed
I laid down till the hue of sun turned red
And when darkness engulfed the light of day
The moon in the sky turned to gray
And with the kiss of waves by the shore
I reached out with my hands to ask for more
More time on the island paradise
Until the sun in the sky is on the rise
3rd place
