Moonlight and magnolias. Sunlight in your hair. :) That's Jimmy Buffet. A sunless day made me go that way. Sometimes the road we take is open. I was thinking about the midnight sun. wwwwhhhh. :)

What are the snow-white furry creatures? polar bears? why not say that if so? [[yes Andie as to sadly being a judgement of the sound of the cows [I had to pad what I wanted to write to get to Charles 5/7/5 here is my revision removing the unnecessary words [gold leaves cling as snow mounds on the maple… cattle low]

My narrow mindedness didn't allow me to see the full colours of this inspired haiku....now it has even more meaning....btw...don't ya just hate anorexia nervosa? Ugh...we'd still be enjoying her stuff if she'd only had better self esteeem...she was gorgeous. Luv, Gwendolen

awwwww.....makes me wanna hug a big white cuddly polar bear......nice. Gwendolen...I've got no good ideas for this contest except an old tune in my head from Karen Carpenter....I'm on the top of the world a lookin..down on creation and the only explanation I can find...is the love that I've found ever since you've been around...Your loves put me on the Top of the World....Remember this one, Andrea...

Nice 5 7 5 hsiku - but I think you should have put "and" instead of "yet". I hope you and yours are well. Thanksgiving is coming up! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I see the world as an igloo in this one - don't quite know why. I suppose that is the charm of Haiku. Luck in the contest. LOve, daver

Lovely visuals, my friend. I'm slowly getting to understand what haiku is all about, but you've obviously mastered it
