On the Street

On the street and out of luck,
  alone, afraid and lost.
Wondering where to spend the night
and what will be the cost.

A product of a broken home
  where love was never found.
Where curses instead of kisses
  were always spread around.

Never told about Jesus,
no one could spare the time.
Never learned to trust Him,
  instead she turned to crime.

Is there a future? She doesn't know
  from living day to day.
Someone needs to find her,
and show her a better way.

Will you walk on by her
  like she's made of glass?
Will you turn your face away
  until you're safely past?

Is there any help for her
or is she too far gone?
Only God can answer that question
  from His Great Judgment Throne.
