On the Prowl Like a Midnight Owl
As I make my way through another day
I pray the good Lord brings
A wonderful woman my way
Always on the prowl
Like a midnight owl
I'm no cat's meow
But I'm far from over the hill
Crying foul
The right time is now
I have to blaze the internet
With quite a pow
I know she is out there
The one that has the right wow
The one that makes you a unique pair
The one you can count on
Because she always cares
The one whose heart
Is in the right place
When we come together
Face to face
In that very special place
All of it in Gods grace
As I trace through the personals
Trying not to race
Keeping an even pace
Not having to give chase
Until I find the right woman to embrace
So I won't come unwound
When the right one comes around
Until then I will stay on the prowl
Like a midnight owl
I'm no cat's meow
But I'm far from over the hill
Crying foul
I pray the good Lord
Brings her my way today
So I won't have to make my way
Through another day
Lonely feeling this way
