On the Pier
On The Pier
Blue waters thrill us so,
fish flop upon the lake,
beauty is never fake,
soft glows the day
Breeze filtering the hours
waters glimmer and shine
promises are on line
cool waves lap on
Sunset approaches soon
the pier ceding to dark
as light loses it's spark
waters caress
