On the Pier

On The Pier by Jerry T Curtis July 7th 2014

When I'm sad and lonely
There's one place that I go
Where time in space seem slow
And without care

There's those that come to fish
And those that like the view
And those I have no clue
come to the pier

But, by and by I see
What this place really means
It's something in our genes
That draws us here
