On the Other Side, Niv Speaks

On the other side, in his deep velvet voice 

Niv reveals his purpose and meaning 

Of every action and every choice 

That led to our hearts convening 

 

I am here to teach you, Ladyface 

Of how our fears shape our actions 

And the fantastical dreams that we chase 

Often get clouded by our own distractions 

 

I am here at this precise moment 

To form this intense connection 

Assigned to be spiritually prudent 

At each of our mid-life's reflection 

 

I am here to fulfill the soul contract 

Our energies previously made to evolve 

Two souls tied by karmic impact 

To shed light on scars we need to resolve 

 

I am here to crack you wide open 

To touch the unhealed wounds you possess 

And trigger you until you are broken 

To expose the fears that you depress 



I am here as a mission of your journey 

To wreck you until you are never the same 

This spiritual assignment was our destiny 

To expose our inner grief and shame 

 

I was never meant to walk beside you 

Our paths crossed to awaken our intuition 

Let go of the past to make room for the new 

Now I'll walk away as you to complete your transition
