On the Old Rocking Chair

where she used to rock her kids to sleep;
arms empty now, she starts to weep.

Oh this is so filled with angst. The empty nest syndrome and the feeling of abandonment once the kids are grown and have lives and families of their own. I'm actually going through that now. Great job and good luck. A winner for sure. God Bless, JB

The memories. That was always me in the glider putting the kids to sleep. Such a peaceful time.
