On the Lighter Side

I don’t like the da, da da, da dark Keep the nightlight on, please! I would rather sit in the park With the Sun always on, you see I for real really don’t like the dark Especially when evil lurking shadows Leep out at me, sneak up on me I would really rather be Kneading some luminescent Play Do Eating some glowing (s)lime green Jello Skipping silver dollars in the pool Being a downright good fellow I will not goof around like a fool Just sipping da margaritas And being really really mellow and cool That’s me, mellow and cool
