on the horizon red then orange peaks through clouds... sun plays hide and seek cold rain saturates pale pink running rose's blossoms... tears for fall's demise

Yes, this is a perfect Fall write my friend! I really enjoyed your description of a Fall sunrise and the rain of a Fall day onto the last rose blossom (as least I am assuming it will be the last)!
