On the High Ways
So speedy again on the high ways
Trees and shrubs glancing through my eyes
As if they were ever in motion
With this wireless whooping sound like a rumbling thunderstorm
I closely observed the backward race of nature
Only seen but by my shortsightedness
This seriously turned incongruous
With me feeling so strong a marathon with nature
See the trees and shrubs with projections
Like the strands that hold my kidneys in consanguinity
Like twinkling stars, the twinkling birds twinkled off my little retina
Still the trees whirr at me as the victor
Feeling the heartbeat of nature
I was totally engrossed and entangled in admiration
For the simple complexity of nature
For wow! Nature is being set on a pedestal
