Jaymee Thomas April 30, 2025 at 4:21 AM This is one of my favorite Keats poems, but it took me forever to understand it. I'll never forget the quote by Ta-Nehisi Coates that made me go back and finally study it in depth. He said that The Ode on a Grecian Urn is worth any number of old ladies :) His point was to be ruthless in your writing toward truth, sort of a kin to Faulkner's 'kill your darlings'.
