On My Way

Pen to paper flowing free
Nothing in the world will stop me
All the bad goes away 
Only joy is here to stay 

Thoughts of love engulf my mind
Something beautiful for me to find 
No more battles no more fights
Now it's time to take flight 

Peace will come this I know 
I will let faith hope and love grow
No more tears for me to cry
To all the pain and despair I say goodbye 

A fresh new look I will take 
A life without fear I will make 
The courage to walk with my head held high 
No more looking at days gone by

The past is the past it can't be changed 
No matter how it's rearranged 
My eyes will see the start of a brand-new day
I know that I am on my way
