On my own

You were born too old
it was always too late
nothing could be done
to change your state
you needed to hide from life
you always had a complain
and for you I was too wild
and I needed to be tamed...

You showed to me
something you were not
you made me believe
yours was real love
I knocked so hard
for you to open your door
but you left me outside
dry, lonely and cold.

And what do I do now?
and where do I go?
who is gonna love me
when my youth is gone?
walking on the streets
on my own
I didn't sign for this
you broke your vows.

A well written poem. Sadly some guys are not who they say they are. I was let down and now the same guy is trying to ask for a relationship but it can only ever be friendship now. We just speak on the phone due to distance ect I'd not move because they can kick you out at anytime they feel like it.
