On My Knees Again

ON MY KNEES AGAIN

I thank you Lord for giving me
A chance to thank you on my knee

When at night I do forget
I wake and know I will regret
To thank you for this very day
I pray you hear me when I say

I thank you Lord for everything.
I have to thank you for the bad
But Lord I know you’ll always be
Beside me always loving me.

You are the light within my soul
I’ll shout it from the highest knoll. 

When things don’t go the way I plan,
I wait for you Lord, yes I can.

At night I need to let it be
Don’t take it back Lord
You shall see.
That when I give it back to you
I need to wait and let it be,
You’ll answer ever prayer I say
But always when it’s Your own way.

George Anos September 21, 2008 at 6:59 PM there should be no stopping you my Christian friend. Don't stop using your talent for him. Inspiring.... Know too that I say something when I mean it. And I mean it when I say I feel blessed reading your poetry. It is so different from my own, but captivates me nonetheless....
