On My Daddy's Knee

As a little bitty tike I ‘d laugh and shout with glee when I could spend some quality time on my Daddy’s knee. He could always make me giggle from way down deep inside. And sparkle in adoring eyes my daddy could not hide. I felt so loved and cherished as I sat there happily Yes, times were oh, so precious on my daddy’s knee I grew up from my childhood and now I am a man. But memories from years ago are still at my command He’s gone and lives with Jesus --- He left some years ago. His spirit lovingly watches me as through this life I go. I know he still remembers time spent contentedly --- Him sitting there so proudly with me upon his knee. Yes, I know my daddy watches And I know he’s proud of me --- As I now spend time so precious on my FATHER’S knee. Author’s comment: Abba Father, Your knees have been a joyful haven for generations of daddies.
