On Loving You

Have you ever loved platonically Then reach a point of true honesty Written in your heart your dreams conceived among the evergreens. I often visit this sacred place Where the hardwood's stand With so much grace And every bird that chirps a song Brings life to us, but not for long. For every moment I've spent with you is tender, honest but never blue So we grew together and then apart, but never forgot the love in our heart. And when we have to say goodbye, I'll hold this moment in my mind, parting ways until next time where the evergreens sway In our special place, Good bye my love but just for today.
