On Love, War and Death

Old men without souls
  Who never utter a cry
Send boys off to distant wars
  Eyes dry when they die

We vote these men into power
Who send mere teens to their death
We who claim to love our kids
We who take away their last breath

Well said Gershon, that's mostly true, but at times we are struck with two bad candidates and forced to vote a bad leader. Some people vote blindly. Just see how many votes Trump got. I was not expecting it. That is life.. Rama

Interesting comment, Rama... If not for the Pandemic, Trump would have easily won reelection... So 'bad' is all relative. Even having botched the pandemic for the most part, 70+ million Americans voted for Trump again. :) gw

So true Gershon. I am happy that President Trump is bringing peace to the Middle East. I hope you are well :)

Yes, indeed. Mr. Trump really has shaken up the dynamic in the Middle East... I just hope Mr. Biden refrains from reviving the moribund 'Palestinian state' issue. It needs to die a natural death, as it is based on a despicable lie --- that there ever was a 'Palestinian People.' Utter hogwash. Arab states threw their brethren into refugee camps, and weaponized them against Israel -- never intending to help them one iota. And you can see that they haven't!... I'm well, Heidi, and hope that you are too.
